Refund and Cancellation Policy

1. Member Registration & Verification Fees

Fees remitted for Individual Membership, Trainer Registration, and Digital ID Card generation cover operational costs, document verification, cloud registry indexing, and database administration:

• Before Document Verification: If an applicant requests cancellation within 24 hours of submission and prior to document review or digital ID processing, a refund may be granted after a nominal 10% administrative and payment gateway charge deduction.
• After Verification & ID Issuance: Once an applicant's credentials have been verified, approved, and assigned an official Council Registration Number or Digital ID Card, no refund request will be entertained.
• Rejection Due to Fake/Forged Documents: Applications rejected due to deliberate submission of forged documents, fraudulent degrees, or identity misrepresentation will be rejected without refund.

2. Yoga Studio & Center Affiliation Fees

Institutional affiliation fees cover the evaluation of studio infrastructure, onboarding consultations, syllabus provisioning, and public directory listing:

• Center affiliation fees are non-refundable once operational materials, affiliation certificates, or syllabus frameworks have been dispatched or granted digital access.
• If an affiliation application is formally rejected by the Council's scrutiny committee solely due to space or infrastructure non-compliance (and not fraud), 50% of the affiliation processing fee will be refunded within 14 working days.

3. Masterclasses, Workshops & Event Fees

For paid seminars, continuous education clinics, and certified training camps:

• Participant Cancellation: Written cancellation requests received at least 7 calendar days prior to the event date are eligible for an 80% refund (20% retained for venue reservation and logistics).
• Late Cancellation & No-Sho No refunds are provided for cancellations submitted within 7 days of the scheduled session or for unnotified no-shows.
• Event Cancellation by the Council: If a scheduled event or masterclass is cancelled or indefinitely postponed by the Council due to unforeseen emergencies, participants will receive a 100% full refund or a credit transfer toward future events (participant’s choice).

4. Voluntary Contributions & Crowdfunding Donations

Donors are requested to verify contribution amounts carefully prior to confirming online payments. Official digital receipts are generated immediately upon successful confirmation.

5. Duplicate Charges & Technical Gateway Errors

In case of internet disruption, double debits, or payment gateway timeouts:

• Double Debits: If your bank account or card is debited twice for a single membership application or event registration, the excess duplicate transaction will be refunded in full (100%) without any administrative deduction.
• Failed Transaction But Debited: If money is deducted from your bank but your account remains uncreated or marked unpaid, payment gateways generally auto-reverse funds within 3 to 5 banking days. If not reversed, please send your transaction reference ID to our accounts desk for priority resolution.
