National Yoga Council

Effective Date: 14 October 2026

Welcome to National Yoga Council. This platform has been developed to promote yoga, support yoga teachers and professionals, encourage yoga education, and create opportunities for growth within the yoga community. Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before registering, making a payment or using our services.

1. About National Yoga Council

National Yoga Council is an independently operated organisation focused on the promotion of yoga, yoga education, professional development and community participation.

The organisation provides services and resources that may include membership, educational programmes, training, certificates, digital verification and professional support for yoga teachers, trainers, yoga centres and other individuals interested in yoga.

The organisation operates independently. Any registration, certification or organisational status should be understood according to its actual scope and applicable documentation. Users should not interpret our services as a government-issued licence, government employment guarantee or statutory approval unless expressly established by the relevant authority.

2. Purpose of the Platform

Our platform aims to make yoga more accessible and to support the people who teach, practise and promote it.

  • Promoting yoga awareness and participation among individuals and communities.
  • Supporting yoga teachers in their professional development and career journey.
  • Providing access to relevant membership and educational opportunities.
  • Offering digital systems for registration, records and certificate verification where available.
  • Encouraging yoga centres, trainers and professionals to develop their activities and connect with the wider yoga community.

Our aim is to contribute to the growth of yoga and a healthier society. Specific employment, income, health or business outcomes are not guaranteed.

3. Registration and User Information

  • Users must provide correct, complete and current information during registration and application.
  • Users must submit genuine documents and must not impersonate another person.
  • Additional information may be requested where reasonably necessary to process an application or verify a record.
  • Users are responsible for protecting their account credentials and for activity conducted through their accounts.
  • Incorrect, incomplete or misleading information may result in an application being delayed, declined or reviewed.

4. Membership and Services

Membership categories, eligibility criteria, fees, benefits and validity may vary according to the selected membership or programme. The details communicated on the relevant page, application form or official communication will apply to that service.

  • Membership benefits are limited to those specified for the relevant category.
  • Membership does not automatically guarantee employment, income, client referrals or business success.
  • Membership does not replace any separate licence, registration or qualification required by law for a particular activity.
  • Renewal and continuation are subject to the conditions communicated for the applicable membership.

5. Courses, Training and Educational Programmes

Course content, duration, eligibility, assessment requirements, delivery methods and fees may differ between programmes.

  • Participants must follow the applicable course guidelines and complete the required learning or assessment activities.
  • Registration or payment alone does not guarantee successful course completion or certificate issuance.
  • Certificates are subject to the requirements and completion criteria of the relevant programme.
  • Programme schedules, trainers or content may be updated when reasonably necessary. Material changes will be communicated where appropriate.

6. Certificates and Independent Certification

National Yoga Council may provide or facilitate certificates and related credentials for eligible programmes, training, membership or other services within its scope of operation.

Depending on the programme and service selected, certificate details or formats may be customised according to applicable requirements and available options.

  • Certificates are issued subject to applicable eligibility, documentation and completion requirements.
  • Certificate details must accurately reflect the relevant record, programme or credential.
  • A certificate issued by an independent organisation should not be represented as a government-issued certificate or statutory licence unless that status has been formally established.
  • Acceptance of a certificate by an employer, institution, other association or authority is determined by that third party and its applicable requirements.
  • Users must not forge, alter, transfer or misrepresent certificates or credentials.

7. QR Code, Unique ID and Online Verification

Where supported by the relevant service, certificates may include a unique identification code, QR code or other verification reference that connects to an online verification platform on our website.

  • The verification platform is intended to help check certificate or record details maintained by the organisation.
  • Verification is limited to the information available in the relevant records and the capabilities of the verification service.
  • Users should check that the displayed information matches the certificate or credential presented.
  • QR codes, unique IDs and verification pages must not be copied, manipulated or used to create misleading credentials.
  • Online verification does not, by itself, establish government recognition, universal acceptance or a professional licence.
  • Verification information may be updated or corrected where records are reviewed, subject to applicable requirements.

8. Organisational Registration and Quality Information

Where applicable, organisational registration, quality certifications or business registrations may be described in official organisational materials. Such status applies only within the scope of the relevant registration or certificate and should not be interpreted as automatic government endorsement of every course, certificate or service.

Users may contact our support team if they require clarification about the scope of a particular organisational credential or service.

9. Fees and Payment Policy

Users should carefully review the selected service, category, fee and applicable terms before completing a payment.

  • Applicable charges will be communicated through the relevant website page, registration form, invoice or official communication.
  • Users are responsible for selecting the correct service and providing accurate payment details.
  • Payment confirmation does not automatically mean that an application has been approved or a course has been completed.
  • Users should retain their payment receipt or transaction reference for future enquiries.

10. No-Refund Policy

Once a payment has been successfully completed, the amount paid is non-refundable under our standard policy.

Please verify the selected membership, course, certificate service, applicable charges and other details before making payment. By proceeding with payment, you acknowledge this policy, subject to any rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.

If a payment is debited more than once, remains unconfirmed because of a technical issue, or appears to have been processed incorrectly, please contact support with the transaction reference. Such cases will be reviewed for correction or resolution as appropriate and in accordance with applicable law and payment-provider procedures.

Nothing in this policy excludes any refund, remedy or consumer right that is legally mandatory in the circumstances.
